Dance for Haiti
I recently taught a dance class as part of Broadway Dance Center’s Dance Haiti guest class series benefiting the relief efforts in Haiti. The studio raised over $2,500 after just one week of classes and aims to raise a total of $10,000 which will be donated to the Red Cross.
I’ll be teaching another open level Modern dance class this Thursday, February 4 at 9p. The class price is $18 and 100% of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund. The dancers and I had an incredible time dancing to Fela, Me’shell, Haitian folk songs, and whatever else my shuffle could come up with. I’m looking forward to enjoying another wonderful evening.
